Loyalty Plans

Purpose

The Loyalty Plans Window is used to setup Loyalty Plans for Customers. Loyalty Plans allow Coupons or Discounts to be awarded when the cumulative “Points” or “Sales” exceed the Bonus Level. Up to 4 Loyalty Plans may be established and maintained.

Accessing the Loyalty Plans Window

While in Focus Setup, select Customers > Plans.

Field

Description

Name

The name of the Loyalty Plan, up to 15 alphanumeric characters.

Active

This option must be on for the Loyalty Points to accumulate and Instant Discounts and Coupons to be awarded.

Reward Type

Bonus Coupon	When the award level is reached a Coupon is printed.	Coupon	Select the Coupon to be printed.
Bonus Discount	When the award level is reached the Customer qualifies for an automatic Discount on their NEXT order.	Discount	Select the Discount to be awarded.
Instant Discount	The Customer qualifies for a Discount on the current order. Points are not accumulated and each order qualifies for an award.	Discount	Select the Discount to be applied.

Bonus Method

Points	Points are earned for each Menu Item sold. This field is disabled if the reward type is Instant Discount.
Sales	Sales are earned for each Menu Item sold. This field is disabled if the reward type is Instant Discount.

Bonus Level

The award is given as soon as the Bonus Level is reached. This field is disabled if the reward type is “Instant Discount”.

Qualifying Bonus Items

Filters	Five Filters may be specified to identify qualifying items that count towards the bonus.
Points/Factor	If the Bonus Method is “Points” specify the number of points that each item in the filter. If the Bonus Method is “Sales”, specify the Factor that is applied to the sales price of each item in the filter (Example: If a cup of coffee is $3.00 and the Factor is 0.5 then $1.50 ($3.00 * 0.5) is accumulated towards the award.).

Command	Description
Close	Closes the Loyalty Plans Window.
Save	Saves current changes.
Cancel	Cancels changes made prior to saving.
