Mike Hamm and Steve Wermes of Focus POS Systems joined Jeff and Maryellen Korn of Advanced Restaurant Technologies (ART POS) at Coffee Fest 2007 in Seattle, WA. Booth traffic was great and many questions were answered.

One of ART POS’ Focus users, Forza Coffee, gave a presentation at the show and discussed how Focus has improved and streamlined operations within his restaurant. Everyone had a great show and we would like to thank Brad of Forza for the kind words!

Focus POS Systems held this year’s Annual Dealer Conference in the great city of San Antonio, Texas. This was the first time many of our dealers have traveled to Texas and we were excited to show them around this historic city. Some of the after hour dealer activities included a tour of the Alamo and a Riverwalk boat cruise.

Steve Wermes, long time employee of Focus POS, was awarded with the Focus POS Systems Lifetime Achievement Award. Thanks Steve, for all of your hard work and congratulations!
 

In addition to entertaining the dealers, we were able to show them some of the new and exciting features of Focus as well as what is in store for the future. We would like to thank our dealers for taking the time to travel to Texas to attend our annual conference. See y’all next year!

The Baltimore Convention Center was the center of attention for restaurant owners, managers and suppliers at this year’s Mid-Atlantic Food, Beverage, & Lodging Expo. Louie Davis and Joe Oyler of Creative Technology Services Group (CTSG) worked the show along with Matt Kowaleski of Focus POS. We had a great turnout again this year and look forward to it again next year!

Raven’s Stadium shared the same parking lot of the Convention Center but unfortunately no football games were scheduled while we were in town!

The 2007 FLORIDA RESTAURANT & LODGING SHOW was held in the beautiful town of Orlando, Florida this year. Employees from Focus POS Systems were excited to work the show with the Florida area dealers, Gulf Data Systems and Digital Retail Systems.

We were excited to report the maiden voyage of the new Focus blimp, Focus One (otherwise known as the Exxon Valdez – Hindenburg), was a huge success!

We also participated in the after-hours function at the Hard Rock Live to watch Gene Knippers from Family Sports Concepts/Beef 'O' Brady's receive this year's Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association Lifetime Achievement Award. Beef O'Brady's is an outstanding Focus customer of Gulf Data Systems. Congratulations Gene!

This year’s 54th Annual Louisiana Foodservice EXPO was held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. Focus was represented by Matt Kowaleski of Focus POS Systems and Matt and Russ McGuire of Gulf Hospitality Systems. The weather may have been hot from August 4-6th in New Orleans but the turnout was fantastic. See everyone next year!
